Who is behind this website?
My name is Marko, and I am a Street Photographer from Serbia. I started with photography 20 years ago. At a time when digital cameras reigned supreme and full-frame DSLRs were the pride of many, I took a different path. I picked up an old Minolta XG-1 with a 45mm f/2 lens. By modern standards, it lacked almost everything—auto-focus, speed, fancy bells and whistles—but what it lacked in technology, it more than made up for in soul.
Deep inside of me, magic created by watching a film photo emerge in the developer, has stayed through the years. I’ve made a lot of wrong and good turns on my photography road. I worked with dozens of film and digital cameras, good and bad ones. On this website, I hope to share the experiences and knowledge I’ve gathered along the way—a collection of informations, often scattered across the internet, brought together in one place for new photographers to explore and discover with ease.
Shoot film. Slow down.
